Meet the Team

Previously chairman of the Football Association and the British Film Institute, Greg is a well-known media executive, journalist, broadcaster and former Director General of the BBC. He has held Chief Executive positions with LWT, Pearson Television and Channel 5 and was Chancellor of the University of York. Greg has held hotel interests over a number of years and became chairman of Vine hotels in 2015.

Having served as Board Member of Best Western UK and a previous Divisional Director of BDL Management, Garin has a wealth of experience across all aspects of the hospitality industry. Garin became a hotel owner in 2009, proactively increasing the portfolio ever since. He maintains close ties with Accor, Hilton, IHG & Best Western among others. These relationships serve our clients well when they decide to go down the franchising route.

Ashley has worked in numerous senior finance roles in the hospitality, leisure and sport industry and overseas all financial affairs for the company.

Keith is an experienced multi-site financial controller and heads up the day to day finance operation of the company.

Simon is the Group’s systems specialist with deep knowledge of procurement and F&B operations.

Dan has been with Vine Hotels since July 2018 and has over 18 years of experience in brand and private hospitality properties.

Liz has 25+ years’ experience of hospitality sales in-house and on an outsourced basis for sporting, cultural, arts, hotel, restaurant, and leisure venues.

Helen has over 25 years’ experience managing hotel revenues and marketing, which has seen her work within numerous hotel brands and a selection of independently owned properties.

Having managed both hotel operations, and Health & Safety, Richard understands the needs to balance the day to day of hotel operations, as well as the statutory Health & Safety requirements.

As a graduate of Hotelschool The Hague, Alice has gained global hotel experience with renowned hotel chains, including her time as a Hotel General Manager, before transitioning into her new group role.

Courtney joined Vine Hotels in June 2018 and brings valuable experience from working in multiple hotels within the group. As a former Hotel Manager, she has a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of hotel operations, which she now applies effectively in her group role.

Sarah has 30 years of experience in marketing and media relations across numerous hotel brands, independently owned UK and international hotels, and the luxury events sector.

A University of Gloucestershire Hospitality Management Graduate, Emma joined Vine Hotels in 2022 from the Accor Revenue team and brings 15 years of experience in hospitality with a focus on revenue management, driven by data, strategy and performance optimisation.

With over 25 years of experience in the hotel and leisure industry. Angela has contributed to supporting various hotel brands and independent venues. Working on-site and remotely to maximise the corporate and leisure business.

A Hospitality Graduate, Lucy joined Vine Hotels in 2014. Specialising in digital marketing, yet covering all aspects of the marketing discipline, Lucy specialises in ensuring the digital campaigns return above industry ROI and that websites are optimised to peak performance.
